industry and clean energy advocates working collaboratively to establish
a 10 percent solar energy standard in Minnesota. Please join

Bringing
Solar Jobs and Economic Growth to Minnesota
In 2010 the solar energy industry grew 67 percent - despite an economic downturn in the overall economy. Venture capitalists invested
more in solar energy technology than any in any other technology
in 2009. A Solar Energy Standard will help make Minnesota an
attractive place for those investment dollars.
Minnesota has a vast, untapped solar energy
potential that, if developed, will lead to greater energy independence
and security, the creation of high-quality solar industry jobs,
and help spur economic development across the state. A Solar Energy
Standard will help us achieve these goals by establishing the right
climate for investment in Minnesota’s
solar energy future.
Note: the Solar MN Coalition and the
Solar
Minnesota Partnership are separate, distinct organizations.
