Welcome to the Solar Minnesota
Coalition—a
group of businesses, consumers, labor groups, the solar
industry and clean energy advocates working collaboratively to establish
a 10% solar energy standard in Minnesota. Please join
us!
The Minnesota legislature has passed legislation that requires public utilities in Minnesota to get 1.5 percent of the electricity they provide from solar energy resources by 2020. The legislation also creates a 10 percent by 2030 solar energy goal in state policy, creating a marketplace to put even more solar on the electricity grid. Thank you to Governor Dayton, Senator John Marty and Representative Melissa Hortman for their tireless work to bring more solar to Minnesota!
Note: the Solar MN Coalition and the
Solar
Minnesota Partnership are separate, distinct organizations.
